Our Wall plaque is dedicated to those that endured the "Siege of Derry" and the Thirteen young apprentices who shut the gates of the approaching Jacobite forces.
Their actions are remembered in the annual Shutting of the Gates commemorations that take place in the City of Londonderry and held on the first Saturday of December.
